Hello all. I wanted to take a minute and send out a call for prayer. Michael's grandfather is in the hospital and doctors are not expecting good things. He has been having some pain for a while. And like all Justice boys kept putting things off. He finally went to the doctor on Thursday. The doctors found a huge mass that is cancer. It's in stage four as I believe things have been stated. They sent him home with pain meds to try and keep him comfortable through the weekend till they could do further text the first of next week.
L.R. (Michael's grandfather) decided not to tell him wife. Who is also in bad health. Well, Jack (Michael's dad) found him incoherent on Friday. To make a long story short...he has OD on the pain meds. He has now been admitted to the hospital. He is not wanting anything done. And is very mad at the whole situation.
I'm not sure what they will decide to do at this point. He is not bending and not wanting anything but something to ease the pain. With the experience of Hospice with Granny...I would assume that they will eventually honor his wishes and Hospice will be brought in to keep him comfortable.
Justice men have a tendency to have a bad tempter. (Michael's is actually rather calm.) But please pray as the nurses, doctors and the family decide what to do from this point.
This is all I know at this time. Jack has always put his parents first so I can only imagine how this will effect him. Please just pray that God will give peace and healing in which ever way He sees fit.
